PHOTOGRAPHY

When it comes to photography, I try to take a journalistic approach. Documenting moments in whatever way I can. I believe it is necessary to record what occurs around us. For future reference.

I provide the narrative, you decide the context. I like to keep my photography work open for interpretation. However this depends on the environment, or project scenario.

Real art is about pure expression. I believe art should be raw so that the real emotions are communicated. If you tell someone in the street you are going to take a photo, that rawness can be lost.

I often find myself mesmerised by people. I get drawn in by their individual style, or character. Whether it be at a gig, event, or in the street. At times, I can find it very therapeutic. I switch off, and shoot.
